ACCT - 1300 Understanding the Language of Business
Description
An introduction to financial and managerial accounting for students who are not majoring in Business, but whose future leadership roles in traditional business environments, non-profit organizations, and other sectors may require and understanding of accounting information. Students will study the development of accounting information and its use to communicate information for personal and organizational decision making. This course does not satisfy curricular requirements for students majoring in Business, nor may students majoring in business earn elective for this course subsequent to completion of ACCT 1301 .
