ENGL - 3162 Scholarly Editions Lab
Description
This course is designed to give students practical, hands-on experience with the preparation of a scholarly edition. Students will learn the rudiments of textual criticism and may undertake the following: locate editions and printings; research printing and transmission histories; transcribe and collate texts; record variances between editions; and prepare annotations. This course may be repeated for up to 3 hours of .
