Requirements for the major

I. Departmental Requirements:

A. 32 credit hours in Religion including at least one course from each of the following two groups:

RELI - 1330 Asian Religions Credits: 3
RELI - 1360 Religion in the United States Credits: 3 OR
RELI - 2312 Religion and the Environment Credits: 3

RELI - 1340 Judaism, Christianity, and Islam Credits: 3
RELI - 2354 The Hebrew Bible/Old Testament Credits: 3
RELI - 2355 The New Testament Credits: 3 OR
RELI - 2371 Introducing Islam: From Mecca to Malala Credits: 3

B.

RELI - 2400 What Is Religion? Credits: 4

C. At least 16 of the credit hours in Religion to be upper-division courses selected in consultation with a faculty adviser in the Department of Religion.

D.

RELI - 4494 Religion Capstone Credits: 4

E. A total of no more than 16 credit hours from

RELI - 3190 Reading and Conference Credits: 1
RELI - 3290 Reading and Conference Credits: 2
RELI - 3390 Reading and Conference Credits: 3

Completion of all other required elements of the Pathways Curriculum and at least 120 credit hours.
